This activity concerned the seismic assessment of piperacks and piping systems of COVA conduced according to Italian Technical Regulations (NT2018). The study has been conducted by using non-linear models in which Fiber section elements have been used for the primary structure, whereas the nonlinearity of the piping system has been related to the friction in the bearings and the gap in the thermal joint
A retrofitting solution of this equipment based on the bracing systems has also been Designed.
